Captain Richard Moran (ret.), curator of the Louisiana Maneuvers and Military Museum will discuss the massive military training exercises that brought hundreds of thousands of soldiers to Louisiana during World War II. The maneuvers were creditied with preparing troops and their leaders for ultimate success in the war. In these 'war games' troops moved into north Louisiana, including Claiborne Parish, bringing exciting mock battles.
